Classic animation from the Max Fleischer Color Classics series. Dancing on the Moon opens showing a rocketship with a sign reading “Honeymoon Express to the Moon” next to it. Several animal couples then board and take a honeymoon trip to the moon. After enjoying a good time, they return and are greeted by a flying line of storks with babies in tow. Max Fleischer was a pioneer in the development of the animated cartoon and served as the head of Fleischer Studios. He brought several characters to the screen including Betty Boop, Koko the Clown, Popeye, and Superman. It was filmed in 2-strip Technicolor and released on July 12, 1935.
