Alice’s Restaurant is a comedy film co-written and directed by Arthur Penn and released in 1969. It is an adaptation of the 1967 folk song “Alice’s Restaurant” by singer and songwriter Arlo Guthrie. The film stars Arlo Guthrie, Pat Quinn, James Broderick, Pete Seeger and Lee Hays.
