Movie trailer for the 1937 film A Star is Born starring Janet Gaynor, Fredric March, and Adolphe Menjou. The movie tells the story of Esther Victoria Blodgett (Janet Gaynor) who goes to Hollywood in the search of stardom. Once there, she encounters many difficulties in trying to achieve her goal until she meets Norman Maine (Fredric March), a famous actor whose career is on the decline due to his alcoholism. He helps start her career and she instantly becomes a major success. Soon afterwards, they get married. It then follows the success of Esther while Norman’s battles with alcohol continue. This movie was filmed in Technicolor and was released on April 27, 1937.
