Yesterday I watched the 1962 classic film Cape Fear starring Robert Mitchum, Gregory Peck, Martin Balsam and Polly Bergen. From the beginning, the story captivated me. It tells the story of ex-con Max Cody (Mitchum) who has spent the past eight years in jail. He attempts to exact revenge on Sam Bowden (Peck), the man he personally holds responsible for his time in jail as Bowden testified against him as a witness in the trial. It then follows Cody as he stalks Bowden and his family. I am not sure why I have always missed this but I must say that it is definitely a classic. If you like non-stop suspense, I highly recommend it.
