Movie trailer for the 1946 film Lady in the Lake. This marked the directorial debut of actor Robert Montgomery. He also starred in the film along with Audrey Totter and Lloyd Nolan. Montgomery plays detective Phillip Marlowe. Marlowe is hired to find a publisher’s wife but the case soon becomes much more complicated as people are murdered. It was released on January 23, 1947.
