This vintage commercial for Hazel Bishop Longer Lasting Lipstick dates back to 1950s. The Hazel Bishop Corporation was founded in 1949 and introduced a line of lipsticks. By the late 1950s, they had added foundations, face powder, hairspray, deodorant, eye make-up and perfume. The company was initially successful but competition from Revlon caused declining sales and a focus on marketing to cheaper stores.
