This vintage travelogue was produced by Castle Films and was part of the World Parade series. The short film shows many vintage and historical scenes from San Francisco as it was in 1939. Castle Films was originally a home-movie distributor founded in California by former newsreel cameraman Eugene W. Castle in 1924. It expanded and in 1938 began producing travelogues.
