It tells the story of twin sisters Kate and Patricia (both played by Davis) who both fall in love with Nantucket lighthouse inspector Bill Emerson (Ford). Although Patricia marries Bill, she drowns and Kate assumes her identity to get closer to the man she loves. This film was released on July 6, 1946.
